The Project on Democracy
& Capitalism
The Project on Democracy and Capitalism explores the intersection of free markets and free societies. The rise of authoritarianism, protectionism, autarchy, and anti-market economics represent a rising threat to the existing liberal order. At its core, the project aims to help students, instructors, and the public at large understand what democracy and capitalism really are, how they bolster each other, and where they conflict.

Scholarship
We build communities of scholars that study the intersection of capitalist and democratic institutions, while producing cutting-edge research that examines these topics in depth.
Policy
We convene teams of experts that generate tangible solutions to problems identified in scholarship while presenting those solutions to decision makers.
